What Washington needs is good leaders no matter what their name is "Bush" or "Kennedy".   The American people have to right to VOTE for whoever they believe is the right person for the job. My greatest concern most Americans are uninformed and are voting on how their own political party tells them to vote. Just look for the “D”, the “R” or the “I” and vote that ticket.   What is GOOD for this country is not an issue; it is only what is GOOD for ME!  

Unfortunately, today so many good people don't run because of the obsessions of the "free press" to eviscerate anyone who doesn’t share their personal political views. Secondly, you have to be a multimillionaire with “friends” in high places to even mount a campaign. George Soros has spent multi-millions to influence American politics to HIS view of the world. Simply stated Soros believe in no moral code, no boundaries whatsoever! In my opinion his elitism has run amuck in America. It should also be noted that George Soros is not a citizen of these what used to be the “United States of America”.   Partisanship has replaced “common sense” and it is my belief that power corrupts. Many of the power houses in Washington D.C. have been in power for years and years.    There are such hypocrisies now embedded so well in Washington’s culture.

Look at Senator Stephens from Alaska for has held his seat for almost 40 years convicted of failure to report illegal gifts.   Look at the investigations underway currently for Chris Dowd who got a VIP loan from Countrywide while he sat on the Banking Committee, look at Charlie Rangel who heads the Ways and Means committee under investigation for failure to pay income taxes.  For those of you who don’t know the Ways and Means committee helps write the Tax Code. Look at Barney Franks who 2 months before the fall of Freddie and Fannie said there were no problems whosoever with these two organizations. Just look at the recipients of PAC monies from Freddie and Fannie. Chris Dowd #1, followed by our new President Elect Barrack Obama has received the most monies since 1989. The list of grievances goes on and on in both parties. Washington is a corrupt place with lobbyists and their PAC monies garnering the ears of politicians.   The people no longer matter unless politicians can use taxpayer monies to buy votes for themselves in the next election. The very politicians who proclaim to care about the poor and downtrodden only show care with taxpayer money. Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry have all their millions locked up in trusts to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.    John Edwards lives in a 8000+ square foot mansion and in his failed bid decried, there are two Americans, you are darn right John and you are one of the elite. I believe both Republicans and Democrats are guilt of this behavior, but the Democrats have made it an art form!

Term limits is the ONLY answer for this country to survive the corrupt culture in Washington. The President has term limits, why not all of Congress? Congress exempts itself from many or most of the laws that it enacts on the rest of us. Congress votes itself raises without the taxpayers consent; likewise, it has a great health care plan unlike the rest of us. The hypocrisy in Washington is larger than our National Debt.
